Well, I’m honored, Phil! Thank you for including me. As for your question, I’m inspired by folks who fearlessly pave their own way, who aren’t afraid of public failure, who have a big vision, do big things with big risks and equally big rewards for many. To name a few who are living: Dr. Paul Farmer and Eve Ensler. One of my all-time inspirational book is Mountains Beyond Mountains written by Tracy Kidder about Paul Farmer.

I find inspiration walking around outside. Nature is a great inspiration. When I look at trees and flowers and birds and up at the stars, I revel in the beauty of it all. Most everything we do is based on nature. We forget that sometimes, especially when people want to destroy nature in the name of progress or replace nature with faux nature.

It’s our guiding light. Let’s treat it like gold!

Hi Phil – I’m a first time visitor. Just clicked over from Belinda’s site. You’ve got a great list here, and I’m so glad to see Belinda right at the top, because I’m a huge fan. And since you asked, one of my absolute favorite books is “Owning Your Own Shadow” by Robert Johnson. Just an amazing book about diving deep and claiming what we don’t want to see in ourselves, the beautiful as well as the challenging.
